As a Security Officer - Front Desk Full-Time in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a financial institution location, you will be the first point of contact, greeting visitors, managing access control and/or badges, and monitoring activity through onsite systems. You will help to maintain a professional, welcoming environment, communicate clearly with staff and guests, and document security-related observations using a computer or tablet. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures and access control protocols for a financial services location.
  • Greet and assist employees, visitors, and vendors; verify identification, issue visitor credentials, and maintain visitor and delivery logs per policy.
  • Monitor lobby activity and security-related systems as assigned, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and/or policy issues to appropriate contacts.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, initiating emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Prepare clear written reports and complete required documentation for daily activity, incidents, and/or interactions requiring follow-up.
