Join Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location where you will manage access control, greet and assist tenants and visitors, and monitor activity to help reduce security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, respond to concerns, and document key details with clear communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Must have guard card.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Having customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors at a commercial real estate location by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Control access to the property by verifying identification and/or credentials, issuing visitor passes and/or badges as required, and directing individuals to the appropriate areas per site policy.
  • Monitor access points, lobby areas, and/or entry systems such as doors, gates, intercoms, and cameras to help reduce unauthorized entry and support orderly traffic flow.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying site contacts and/or emergency services as appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate logs and reports for visitor activity, deliveries, key control, and incident details, and communicate relevant information during shift turnover.
