You will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and document activity using site systems. Requirements

• Possess a TSA issued TWIC.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, employees, and contractors by following site-specific access control procedures, security-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial chemical location.
• Control entry and exit at gates and/or lobbies by verifying identification, visitor authorization, and delivery documentation, and by issuing badges and/or temporary credentials per site requirements.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, radios, and access control systems, and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations to site leadership following established communication and escalation protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications, documenting actions taken, and supporting first responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, production-adjacent areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access, check doors and gates, and identify conditions that may require maintenance and/or operational follow-up.
