As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will support access control by checking credentials, managing visitor and contractor entry, and monitoring designated areas to help reduce security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, stay visible, respond to alarms and requests, and document key activity with clear communication and customer service. Requirements
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
- Control access to the facility by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, managing sign-in and sign-out logs, and directing visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel to designated areas.
- Monitor entry and exit points, gates, and dock areas to help to deter unauthorized access, support traffic flow, and assist with vehicle and foot-traffic screening in accordance with post orders.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and communicating with site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, production areas, and perimeter zones, reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and maintenance concerns per site procedures.
