You will monitor entry points, document activity, communicate clearly with site leaders, and help support security-related incident response. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, drivers, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Manage access control for a logistics and distribution location by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining entry and exit logs, and directing arrivals to designated areas.
• Support shipping and receiving operations by monitoring inbound and outbound traffic, coordinating with site contacts on dock and yard access, and helping to control restricted area entry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying site leadership and/or emergency services as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including doors, gates, loading areas, and parking areas, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
