Job Description As a Security Officer - Guest Services in Palm Beach Gardens, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Front Desk Officer in a healthcare location, you will welcome employees and visitors, manage access control, monitor cameras and alarms, and document activity with clear, professional reports. You will be a visible, helpful presence that can help to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service. At Allied Universal, you will work with a caring team that is agile, reliable, and innovative, always acting with integrity.

Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be able to type at least 40 words per minute.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a guard card
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures and assisting with security-related access control for a healthcare location.
  • Greet visitors, patients, and/or vendors; verify identification and visit purpose; issue visitor credentials per site policy.
  • Monitor lobby activity and security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and/or access control panels; document observations and report irregular activity.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency services in accordance with post orders.
  • Maintain accurate logs and reports, including visitor entries, deliveries, and incidents; support administrative tasks such as answering phones and directing inquiries as needed.
