As a Security Officer - Hospital Campus Rounds in Willoughby, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements
- This hospital site requires vaccines.
- The client requires proof of a high school diploma and/or GED.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entrances, lobbies, corridors, parking areas, and the perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify irregular conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor flow, assist with directions and wayfinding, and support order in public areas in a calm, respectful manner.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations such as disturbances, medical alerts, missing persons, and property concerns using a calm, problem-solving approach and timely communication.
- Document and report incidents, patrol observations, and policy violations, and coordinate with Allied Universal supervision and location staff as needed.
