About The Position

As a Security Officer - Hospital Rounds in Plaistow, NH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a busy healthcare location. You will conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to calls with calm, professional communication and customer service. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
  • Be able to meet hospital vaccine requirements.
  • Be able to work in a hospital morgue environment.
  • Be able to restrain individuals as required.
  • Be 21 years of age or older.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, contacting emergency services, and/or requesting additional support as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of assigned areas including entrances, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points, visitor flow, and restricted areas, assisting with directions and reporting suspicious activity, hazards, and/or maintenance issues through proper channels.
  • Complete shift logs, incident reports, and activity documentation, and communicate observations and handoff information to oncoming personnel and site leadership.
