As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a premier hotel and resort location, you will conduct routine patrols of guest areas and back-of-house spaces, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related concerns, respond to alarms and service requests, and support staff and guests with clear communication and hospitality-minded customer service. Requirements

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including guest disturbances, trespassing concerns, and fire and/or medical calls per post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of hotel and resort areas, including lobbies, corridors, meeting spaces, parking areas, loading docks, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Monitor access points and observe for unusual activity that may help to deter theft, property damage, and/or unauthorized entry, and promptly report concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Complete detailed written reports on patrol activities, incidents, and guest interactions, and communicate updates using approved radios, phones, and/or reporting systems.
