As an Allied Universal Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will greet employees and visitors, verify credentials, manage check-ins, and monitor entry points and cameras to help reduce unauthorized access. You will conduct routine patrols, report unusual activity, and deliver friendly, clear communication throughout the shift. Requirements

• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Control entry and exit at gates and/or lobbies by verifying credentials, issuing temporary badges, maintaining visitor and delivery logs, and directing traffic to approved areas.
• Monitor alarm panels, cameras, and other security-related systems; report irregularities and document actions taken per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and assisting with site evacuations when directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, and perimeter points as required; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
