About The Position

As a Security Officer - Front Lobby Attendant in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a leading financial institution location, you will greet visitors, verify access, manage badges and keys, monitor cameras and alarms, and document security-related activity with clear communication. You will be the first point of contact, providing customer service while helping to deter incidents through a professional, visible presence. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the front desk by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Control access to the financial institution location by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and directing guests to the proper areas.
  • Monitor lobby activity, alarms, and/or camera systems as assigned, and report unusual activity or policy violations through the established chain of communication.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services when required.
  • Complete required reports and documentation such as incident reports, access logs, and shift activity notes, and communicate key information during shift handoff.
