As a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help monitor access points, perform screening of packages and equipment, and support routine patrols of assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents. You will stay visible, communicate clearly with team members and site personnel, and deliver strong customer service. Requirements
- X-ray screening experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by following site-specific security-related procedures, screening requirements, and/or access control policies at a logistics and distribution location.
- Screen employees, visitors, and/or drivers as assigned, including monitoring entry points, checking identification and credentials, and verifying authorization for access.
- Inspect bags, packages, and/or personal items as permitted by site policy, using screening equipment and visual checks to help identify prohibited items and policy violations.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report concerns promptly to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
- Maintain accurate logs of screening activity, exceptions, and incidents, and communicate policy reminders and directions to support orderly site operations.
