As an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, you will make visible rounds, document security-related observations, respond to calls for assistance, and support staff, patients, and visitors with courteous service and clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, with opportunities to move between areas and help to reduce incidents through presence and professionalism. Requirements

Be at least 21+ years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and follow site procedures for notifications and escalation.
Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
Monitor access points, verify credentials when required, and assist with visitor management and/or controlled entry procedures in accordance with site guidelines.
Complete security-related reports and logs, document unusual activity, and communicate relevant updates to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
