As an unarmed patrol officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will document observations, support access control, and communicate clearly with employees and visitors while using a computer or tablet as needed. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to on-site employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, yards, docks, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and control entry for employees, visitors, and deliveries by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, and documenting traffic in accordance with site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and assisting with scene control until additional resources arrive.
  • Complete timely written reports and shift logs, document incidents and patrol findings, and communicate relevant updates to site contacts and/or Allied Universal management.
