Security Officer - Night Foot Patrol
About The Position
As a Security Officer - Night Mobile Patrol in Dupont, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech and media location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a tech-focused location.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points, check identification and/or visitor credentials as directed, and help maintain orderly movement through lobbies, secured doors, and controlled areas.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to site contacts and/or emergency services as required.
- Document patrols, incidents, and unusual conditions in written and/or electronic reports, and relay timely updates during shift turnovers.
