About The Position

As a Security Officer - Front Desk Concierge in Charlotte, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will greet visitors, manage access control and badging, monitor alarms and cameras, and document security-related activity with clear communication. You will be a visible, welcoming presence that helps to deter incidents while supporting tenants, guests, and onsite teams. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Staff the front desk by greeting and directing visitors, answering phones, and maintaining a professional presence while monitoring the lobby and entry areas for unusual activity.
  • Control access by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, managing sign-in and sign-out logs, and coordinating visitor and vendor entry with onsite contacts.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, documenting actions taken, and supporting arriving responders as directed by post orders.
  • Complete required reports and logs, communicate activity and concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management, and support security-related administrative tasks as assigned.
