As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a hotel and resort location, you will conduct routine patrols of guest areas, back of house spaces, and parking areas, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with clear communication and customer service. You will support access control and incident reporting while working as part of a caring team that values integrity, teamwork, and an agile, reliable, innovative approach.

Requirements

  • Have 1+ years of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and hotel staff by following site-specific procedures, assisting with directions and amenity information, and supporting security-related requests.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of hotel public areas, back-of-house spaces, parking areas, and building perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or policy issues.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical calls, fire or water alarms, and requests for assistance from hotel management.
  • Control access to restricted areas by checking credentials as directed, monitoring entrances and loading areas, and documenting deliveries and/or vendor activity per site policies.
  • Complete detailed reports of shift activity, incidents, and patrol findings, and communicate key information to hotel leadership and incoming personnel.
