You will help manage lobby access, check credentials, monitor cameras and alarms, document incidents, and communicate clearly with employees and visitors. Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors at a front desk within a financial services location by following site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Control access to the facility by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining sign-in and sign-out logs, and directing guests to appropriate areas.
• Monitor entry points, lobby activity, and available security-related systems such as cameras and alarms, and report irregular activity according to post orders.
• Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate updates to site leadership and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Complete detailed written reports and shift documentation, including incident reports, access logs, and administrative records, and escalate concerns through the chain of command.
