As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site leaders and coworkers, and respond to security-related concerns with a calm, service-focused approach. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor processing, including checking identification, issuing badges when assigned and directing deliveries and contractors to approved locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and service calls in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site management and/or public responders as needed.
• Complete shift documentation, including patrol activity, incident reports and daily logs, and communicate observations to the next shift and/or site contacts.
