As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, including public spaces, guest areas, and back-of-house zones, maintaining a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will assist guests and staff with clear communication and customer service, document observations, and support the team with integrity at Allied Universal.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer Service Experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a hotel and resort location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of guest areas, lobbies, meeting spaces, back-of-house areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance or access control concerns.
  • Monitor access points and respond to door alarms, suspicious activity, noise complaints, and other calls for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Write clear, detailed reports of incidents, observations, and daily activities, and communicate key information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts as needed.
  • Support incident response by assisting with guest and employee direction during medical events, fire alarms, and other critical situations, and coordinate with local emergency services when required.
