As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol production and warehouse areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to alarms, and document activity using a computer and/or tablet while delivering outstanding customer service. Requirements

• Have 3+ years' combined law enforcement/military/security experience or a college degree.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be comfortable using computer or tablet preferred.
• Have access control/badge experience preferred.
• Have alarm panel experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a food and beverage production and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, notifications, and documentation per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, office spaces, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or unusual activity.
• Monitor access points, check credentials where required, and help to control the flow of employees, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
• Complete routine reports, shift logs, and incident documentation, and communicate observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision as needed.
