You will monitor and patrol production and perimeter areas, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, control access, and document activities with clear communication. You will respond to alarms and service calls, assist employees and visitors, and partner with site teams using teamwork, integrity, and a caring culture that is agile, reliable, and innovative.

Requirements

  • Have 1+ years' law enforcement experience or 2+ years' security-related supervisor/manager experience or 3+ years' security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including providing assistance with de-escalation, notifications, and incident documentation.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, exterior grounds, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
  • Monitor access points, alarms, cameras, and key control as assigned, helping to manage visitor processing, deliveries, and truck traffic in accordance with site requirements.
  • Complete detailed reports, logbook entries, and shift handoffs, including observations of unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations escalated through the proper channels.
