About The Position

As a Security Officer - Mall Patrol Driver Clearance in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service. Your visible presence and routine patrols support a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements

An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe for any unusual situations.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
Report and document any incidents, hazards, or irregularities encountered during patrols or while on post.
Assist with access control procedures and/or crowd management as required by the location's needs.
Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management, site staff, and emergency personnel as necessary.
