About The Position

As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Cantonment, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an unarmed, driving Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related concerns, and support access control and visitor coordination. You will document and communicate observations, respond to calls for service, and deliver customer service with integrity. Requirements

  • A TSA Issued TWIC is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, vendors, employees, and/or visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and post orders at an industrial chemical processing location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, tank farms, parking areas, and perimeter lines, helping to identify unusual conditions, unsecured doors or gates, and unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials as required, maintaining visitor logs, contractor check-in processes, and vehicle entry procedures in accordance with site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, suspicious activity, and requests for assistance, and initiate notifications and escalation per site protocols.
  • Complete routine documentation such as shift activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
