As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming customer experience through clear communication and professionalism. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to our clients in a financial services location by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support and timely notification of site leadership and/or emergency services.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas and the exterior perimeter, including lobbies, offices, entrances, parking areas, and other assigned spaces. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, help to deter unauthorized entry, and complete ID checks, visitor logs, and/or key and badge control per site policy.
  • Document and report hazards, suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations using required incident reporting tools and procedures.
