As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and respond professionally to situations as they arise. Requirements

• Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by following site-specific security-related procedures, post orders, and applicable government facility protocols, and/or supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances, parking areas, and perimeter routes, documenting observations and potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and controlled areas, assist with visitor processing and/or credential verification as directed, and report policy violations through proper channels.
• Complete detailed shift documentation such as activity logs and incident reports, and communicate status updates to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
