About The Position

As a Security Officer - Patrol Rounds Driver in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location as an unarmed Patrol Officer in a driving post. You will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access control, visitor assistance, and clear incident reporting. Requirements

• Have 1+ years' law enforcement experience OR 2+ years' security supervisor/manager experience OR 3+ years' security experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following post orders, security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions per site protocol.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, hangars, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
• Monitor access points and verify identification and/or authorization as required, assisting with visitor management and directing people to the appropriate locations.
• Complete security-related reports and logs, communicate status updates to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision, and support other post assignments as directed.
