You will support access points, assist employees and visitors with clear communication, and deliver customer service that reflects our agile, reliable, and innovative approach. Requirements

  • Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
  • Have an active DoD Secret clearance.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out post orders, access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions according to Allied Universal and site requirements.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production and/or office areas, and perimeter areas within an aerospace and defense location, noting unusual conditions and reporting them through approved channels.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, radios, and/or other security-related systems when assigned, escalating issues and coordinating with on-site contacts and/or public responders as required.
  • Complete detailed written reports, activity logs, and shift handoffs, supporting security-related investigations and/or audits by maintaining accurate records.
