As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will patrol assigned areas, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to calls for assistance with calm, clear communication. You will complete routine rounds, document observations, and support site teams with customer-focused service. Requirements

  • Have 3+ years’ combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience OR a college degree.
  • Maintain an active DoD Secret clearance.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, and/or visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including requesting assistance from site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout office, lab, and common areas, including exterior perimeter checks, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Support access control operations by verifying identification and/or credentials, managing visitor sign-in processes, and reporting access issues per site requirements.
  • Monitor security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and access control panels, document observations and incidents, and communicate updates to site leadership per post orders.
