As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that can help to reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to requests, document observations, and communicate clearly with tenants, guests, and site teams. Requirements

• Supervisory experience is required.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, employees, vendors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of office areas, common spaces, loading and service areas, parking locations, and the building perimeter, with working conditions that may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and observe activity for unusual conditions that may help to deter unauthorized access and/or property loss, and report concerns to Allied Universal leadership and/or the appropriate contact.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, disturbances, and fire alarms, and request additional support when needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and customer requests in daily activity reports and incident reports, and communicate relevant information during shift changes.
