As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and complete routine checks of gates, perimeters, and access points. You will support site personnel and visitors with clear communication, thorough reporting, and customer-focused assistance. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific post orders, access procedures, and/or emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, tank farms, offices, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.
  • Monitor cameras, intrusion/fire panels, and/or other detection systems as assigned, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with scene control, notifications, and coordinating with local responders as directed.
  • Complete shift reports, incident documentation, and log entries with accurate details, and support badge control, visitor processing, and vehicle screening procedures as assigned.
