Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control and report concerns clearly, while delivering strong customer service to staff and visitors. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• A Guard Card and/or security-related license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and communicating updates to site leadership and/or emergency services.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Monitor access points and interior areas, observe for unusual conditions, and support visitor management by verifying authorization and directing individuals to the appropriate areas.
• Document patrols, observations, and incidents in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate significant findings to the appropriate personnel.
