Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a dynamic technology-focused location.
- Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and/or deliveries at designated access points while following post orders, identification protocols, and screening procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Monitor entrances, lobbies, screening areas, and/or other assigned locations to help support authorized access and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as assigned, noting conditions that may require follow-up or additional security-related attention.
