About The Position

As a Security Officer - Site Patrol Driver in Texas City, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with staff and visitors, document observations, and respond to security-related concerns with customer-focused service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements, offering a role where integrity, teamwork, and innovation matter.

Requirements

  • Possess a TSA issued TWIC.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors and personnel by following site-specific post orders, access procedures, and security-related protocols at a government location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of facilities, gates, docks, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor fixed posts and key areas for unusual conditions, report concerns promptly, and complete detailed shift logs and incident reports per Allied Universal requirements.
  • Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications and/or assistance per site procedures.
  • Support entry and exit operations by observing identification and credential checks as directed, verifying deliveries and/or vehicles when assigned, and directing traffic and/or pedestrians as needed.
