As an unarmed, driving Patrol Officer at a tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document observations using site technology, and deliver clear, respectful customer service. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and verify visitor check-in requirements, issuing temporary credentials when directed and documenting entries and/or exits per site procedure.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with medical calls, fire alarms, and/or building system alerts as directed.
  • Complete detailed reports of daily activities, patrol findings, and incident response actions, and communicate security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.
