Job Description As a Security Officer - Swing Shift Patrol in Hebron, KY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, support access control and/or visitor needs, and communicate clearly with site teams. Bring a customer-first mindset as you deliver reliable, agile service through teamwork and integrity.

Requirements

CPR Certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points, documenting observations per post orders.
Monitor access points and support visitor, vendor, and delivery processing by verifying authorization, issuing credentials when directed, and/or directing individuals to appropriate check-in areas.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations through the appropriate communication channels.
Complete routine security-related reports and logs, support investigations with detailed observations, and/or coordinate with site leadership and local responders when required.
