With a valid driver’s license, you will complete vehicle rounds, conduct visible patrols, and assist with access points while documenting security-related activity. You will be a calm, customer-service focused presence, communicating clearly and responding to concerns with integrity. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license from the state in which the job is located is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter routes at a technology and communications location; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Monitor access points, verify identification and/or credentials as required, and help to deter unauthorized entry by following post orders and reporting concerns.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including observing, documenting, and promptly notifying appropriate contacts.
  • Complete required reports, logs, and patrol activity documentation, and communicate relevant updates to supervisors, site contacts, and/or responding public resources.
