As a Screener with Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help keep operations moving by screening people and property, verifying credentials, and controlling access points. You will perform routine patrols of assigned areas, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with drivers, employees, and visitors. Requirements

• Possess a TSA Issued TWIC.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access control and other security-related procedures at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, and deliveries as assigned, verifying identification, authorizations, and shipping documentation to help support security-related compliance at entry and exit points.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and screening area activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and maintenance concerns per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, documenting events, and coordinating with site leadership and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas such as entrances, exits, docks, and perimeter zones, noting irregularities and taking appropriate action per site-specific policies.
