As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access points, respond to calls for assistance, and provide clear, professional communication with staff, patients, and visitors. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma and/or GED.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points, documenting observations per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including calls for assistance, disturbances, and/or medical-related emergencies as directed.
• Control access by monitoring doors, visitor flow, and restricted areas, helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.
• Complete required reports such as incident reports, shift logs, and patrol documentation, and communicate updates to Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts.
