As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a fast-paced healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, manage access points, and respond to incidents with calm, clear communication. Your visible presence helps to deter security-related concerns while you support patients, visitors, and staff with service-focused assistance. Requirements

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalating disputes, assisting with scene control, and requesting additional resources when needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas and exterior perimeter, including parking areas, entrances, and corridors; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Help to deter unauthorized access by monitoring access points, verifying credentials as directed, directing visitors to appropriate destinations, and reporting unusual activity.
Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and maintenance concerns using site logs and/or electronic reporting systems, and communicate updates to Allied Universal leadership and location personnel.
