Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Springdale, AR , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy requirements. You will support patients, visitors, and staff with strong communication and customer service while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, people-first culture built on teamwork and integrity. Requirements

  • This is a hospital site where vaccines are required.
  • Proof of a high school diploma and/or GED is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical facility disturbances, missing persons notifications, and fire and/or alarm activations, and notify appropriate personnel per post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior corridors, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards, with working conditions varying by assignment and shift.
  • Monitor access points and help manage visitor flow by observing for unauthorized entry, assisting with wayfinding, and reporting suspicious activity in accordance with site-specific guidelines.
  • Complete security-related reports and logs, document incidents and patrol findings, and communicate observations to supervisors and/or site contacts while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
