Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will spend much of your shift driving the property, completing routine patrols, and checking key areas for unusual activity. You will stay visible to help discourage incidents, support store teams and customers with clear communication, and document observations. This role requires a valid driver’s license and aligns with our agile, reliable, innovative, people-first, integrity-driven teamwork culture.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and store associates by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including addressing disturbances, medical situations, and fire or alarm activations per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the retail sales floor, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to identify unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and associate activity to help to reduce loss through visible presence, clear communication, and timely notification to management and/or law enforcement as directed.
• Complete required reports and log entries, document incidents and observed conditions, and communicate updates to Allied Universal supervision and site leadership.
