About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Watch in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, respond to calls for service, support access control, and communicate clearly with onsite teams and visitors. Requirements

• Have a minimum of 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication and reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production or lab areas, parking lots, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or unusual conditions.
• Control access at entry points by checking credentials, directing visitors to the proper check-in process, and monitoring authorized access to restricted areas and sensitive operations.
• Complete routine logs and incident reports, document patrol observations, and communicate with supervisors and site contacts to support continuity of operations.
