As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and document observations. You will support access points, respond to calls for assistance, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering a customer-first experience. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors and personnel by following site-specific procedures, access requirements, and other security-related guidelines.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, labs, offices, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
- Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems, then document observations and notify site contacts according to post orders.
- Control access by verifying identification, issuing temporary credentials, managing visitor logs, and completing detailed reports of daily activities and incidents.
