As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, use a computer and/or tablet to support reporting, and provide professional customer service and clear communication to employees and visitors. Requirements
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouses, loading docks, parking areas and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and shipment flow by observing inbound and outbound truck traffic, checking identification as directed and documenting unusual activity.
- Complete reports such as shift activity logs and incident reports, communicate relevant updates to the next shift and/or site contacts and assist with security-related inspections as assigned.
