About The Position

As a Security Officer - Vehicle Patrol Driver in Hoffman, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • A valid firearms permit is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site staff and visitors by carrying out post orders, security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Perform armed patrol duties in a government facility setting, maintaining readiness and following all use of force guidelines, weapon handling standards, and reporting requirements.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site management and local public service partners as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, grounds, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Complete timely, detailed documentation such as activity logs, incident reports, and shift turnover briefings, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or maintenance concerns through established channels.
