You will make routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to calls for assistance. You will document activity, use a computer or tablet for reporting, and deliver strong customer service while working with site teams. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and notifying site contacts and/or appropriate responders as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Control access by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying identification and/or visitor authorization, and directing visitors and deliveries to the proper check-in areas.
  • Complete daily activity reports and incident reports, communicate observations during shift handoff, and assist with basic security-related administrative tasks as assigned by site policy.
