As an Allied Universal Officer focused on access control at a Manufacturing Site, you will greet employees and visitors, verify credentials, manage entry and delivery logs, and communicate clearly with onsite teams. You will conduct routine patrols and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Control access at entrances and vehicle gates by verifying identification, managing visitor registration, issuing temporary credentials as directed, and directing traffic flow at the location.
  • Screen and process deliveries, trailers, and service providers by checking documentation, coordinating dock and yard access, and communicating with site contacts per post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifications, documentation, and coordination with site leadership and/or public responders as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points, and report hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations through the appropriate channels.
