Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control with badge verification. You will document activity using a computer and/or tablet, respond to questions with strong customer service, and communicate clearly with site teams. Bring agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to every shift.

Requirements

  • A guard card and/or applicable license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout industrial buildings, warehouses, loading dock areas, parking lots, and the perimeter, documenting observations.
  • Monitor access points and controlled areas, verify identification and/or badges when required, and help to deter unauthorized entry and/or removal of materials.
  • Complete detailed reports of patrols, incidents, and unusual activity, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and oncoming personnel.
