Barbier Security Group (BSG) is looking for dedicated individuals who enjoy providing the essential role of a Security Officer in a Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) setting . This site is located in Marin County. Our CSU Security Officers are often the first point of contact for individuals in distress, representing both the facility and BSG with professionalism and compassion. They will assist with the functions of physical and personal security and safety measures for members, patients, staff, and visitors while ensuring the team is proactive in following clinical directive. Shift: Swing and Grave Shifts (Weekend availability required) Hourly Rate: $26.00 per hour. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Eligibility to work in the United States.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Possess a current California Guard Card License.
A valid Driver's License and a clean driving record are required for applicable sites.
Reliable transportation is necessary.
Proficient in basic computer and smartphone usage.
Must be able to speak, read, and write in English to create accurate reports; additional language skills are a plus.
Strong listening skills, patience, and compassion, particularly when interacting with community members experiencing emotional or psychological challenges.
Ability to remain calm in crisis situations, think critically, de-escalate conflicts, and communicate effectively.
Maintain a positive, professional demeanor in adherence to all laws, regulations, company policies, and confidentiality standards.
Ensure compliance with both company and client policies and procedures while being open to performance improvement.
Possess a clear understanding of emergency response procedures and protocols.
At least one year of experience in security, mobile patrol, or event staff roles.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
Performs other related duties, as assigned.
Stand or Walk for Extended Periods : Ability to stand and walk for long shifts, often for several hours at a time, including traversing outdoor areas with uneven surfaces, without significant physical strain.
Climb Stairs: Regularly climb stairs and navigate multi-level buildings to perform patrols and check all areas.
Lift and Carry: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds to move or secure equipment, and assist with other duties as necessary.
Physical Endurance: Ability to withstand various weather conditions during outdoor patrols, including hot, cold, rainy, or windy weather.
Manual Dexterity: Ability to handle and operate security equipment, such as radios, keys, and locks.
Run or Move Quickly: Ability to sprint short distances if needed to respond quickly to emergencies or incidents.
Physical Stamina: Capable of working long hours while remaining alert and focused throughout the shift.
De-escalate stressful situations with professionalism and patience.
Kneeling and Bending: Ability to kneel, crouch, and bend to check low-level areas, secure entrances, or assist in emergencies.
Vision and Hearing: Strong vision and hearing to observe surroundings, monitor security systems, and detect alarms or sounds of distress.
